Senior citizen from Bhubaneswar loses Rs 40.51 lakh to ‘UK woman’ he befriended on social media

An elderly man from Bhubaneswar lost Rs 40.51 lakh to an unknown woman, who befriended him on social media by introducing herself as a wealthy lady from London, and made him the nominee of her account with the HSBC Bank in the UK within days of their online rendezvous.
