Odisha will need 428 years to ensure women make up 1/3rd of police force

At the current rate of recruitment, Odisha will need 428 years to fulfil the criteria of having one-third women in police force, the India Justice Report 2021, released on Thursday, stated. Ironically, Odisha had introduced 33% reservation for women in police force way back in 1992.
