Due to human-elephant conflict in Odisha, 730 people died since April 2014 while 611 elephants died of different reasons including electrocution, poisoning, poaching, road and rail accidents. Wildlife Society of Odisha, a voluntary organization, has suggested some measures to reduce the conflict.
