Odisha to set up 500-bed trauma center at SCB Medical college

A 500-bed trauma center will be set up at Cuttack’s SCB medical college and hospital to provide advanced treatment for accident victims, as approved by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi. The project, under the ‘Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana,’ will have 60% funding from the Centre and 40% from the state.
