Odisha sets up stabilisation fund to mitigate future revenue shock

Odisha which earns a lion’s share of its revenue from the mining and metal sector has set up a Budget Stabilization Fund (BSF), a first-of-its-kind initiative in a state in the country with an aim to neutralize the risk of price shock of metals on the state budget.
