Odisha: Despite smart classrooms, teacher shortage affects Koraput schools

With 586 teaching posts, including 138 that of headmasters, lying vacant against the sanctioned strength of 1385 in 184 high schools in the district, the school transformation programme launched by the state government sees little hope of enhancing the academic activities.
