India’s direct tax at record high of 14L-cr

India has collected an all-time high net direct tax of Rs 14.09 lakh crore in 2021-22 financial year compared to Rs 9.45 lakh crore in 2020-21, Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) chairman J B Mohapatra said here on Tuesday.Direct tax includes income tax and corporate tax.
