Engr demise has no link with Rayagada case: DGP

Sunil Kumar Bansal, the Director General of Police of Odisha stated that the investigation into the death of Russian sailor Sergei Milyakov is still in full swing and that there is no connection between his death and that of the two Russian nationals in Rayagada. A postmortem examination on Milyakov was conducted by a team of three doctors in presence of a magistrate on Wednesday and the entire process was videotaped. Police said that further course of investigation will depend on the findings of the postmortem and viscera samples collected for further forensic analysis. Energy’s body has been kept in a mortuary at Paradip Port pending communication from the Russian authorities through the Ministry of External Affairs.
