Deep depression intensifies into Cyclone Gulab, IMD issues warning for Andhra Pradesh, Odisha

A deep depression over the Bay of Bengal intensified into a cyclonic storm, named Gulab, which may make landfall between Gopalpur in Odisha and Kalingapatnam in Andhra Pradesh on Sunday evening, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said. The IMD said the cyclone will be followed by a low pressure by Tuesday.
