Celebration starts early in Droupadi Murmu’s ancestral village

Uparbeda, the tribal village where NDA presidential nominee Droupadi Murmu was born, is in celebration mode and counting the hours when the result of the presidential election would be declared. The villagers have plans to observe Thursday as ‘vijay diwas’, convinced that their daughter would be elevated to the country’s top post.
